About
My name is Paul Alex Briseno. I recently graduated with my Masters of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration on Instructional Technology from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas (2008). I also received my Bachelor of Science Degree in E-commerce Information Systems from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2005.
Currently I work as an Instructional Technology Coordinator for a district in San Antonio, Texas. I provide technology training to all district employees year round on all technologies that the district has to offer as well as bring in training from companies or other trainers, speakers and presenters. I have been working in the Education field since 2003 where I started off as a CEI Computer Lab Facilitator at the Elementary level. After a year of working with elementary students in the CEI Computer Lab I moved into the Secondary level and taught Technology Applications at a high school in San Antonio, Texas for two years.
This semester I also have the privilege of teaching an online grad course for Our Lady of the Lake University.
I have had the luxury of using technology from a very early age. I remember the first time I programmed a computer using BASIC line programming when I was 10 years old. From that day on I knew that computers and technology were in my future.
It is my goal through this blog to reflect on my learning, teaching, and experience with technology in the education field as well as to show others how technology greatly affects all of our lives at home, work, school, or play.
